Olivier Lelong is a french photographer who produces a very composed work, sometimes disturbing, often violent photography, in which the women play with their body and their fantasies. Coming from a post-punk background and being exposed to the tradition of 80’s French graphic art , he has worked with a wide variety of different media, ranging from video, to illustration and performance. He moves from art to science with incredible ease – shifting the boundaries of the both, and of medicine in particular, in order to create the space for a novel take on the body mixing nature and culture, in an irreverent pastiche of scientific illustration and fetishistic graphics.
His works on the image, the art and the communication led him to create a studio as an art director, his sense of storytelling asserted itself, into digital arts which integrate mediums so varied as illustration, painting, photography, the graphic design and motion picture.
